| Chocolate Cake grease and flour pan(s).....1 square or 2 round preheat oven to 375 deg F 2 cups flour 2 cups sugar 1/2-1 cup Hersheys cocoa (use a lot for real chocolate flavor) 1 tbs vanilla 1 cup mayonaise 1 egg 1 heaping tsp baking soda disolved in 2 cups hot water OR hot coffee use beater.........add flour to thicken batter if neccessary use more cocoa to make it darker if desired bake at 375 degrees until toothpick comes out clean for icing, 1 lb 10x confectioners sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 tsp vanilla approx 3 tbs milk.....add slowly to mixture while beating until it gets smooth enough to spread add food coloring if you like Thank you Rasp for sending the Chocolate Cake recipe! |
